Living room of the Piso Alameda refurbishment in Torre Horadada

Full renovation · Torre Horadada

Piso Alameda

Full renovation of a seafront flat: kitchen opened onto the dining room, a light palette that makes the space feel larger, and particular care over the details and the materials.

The kitchen, opened to the rest of the home

The renovation opens the kitchen onto the dining and living rooms, so that the daytime area works as a single space. The fish-scale tiling on the splashback and the light worktop bring order without crowding, and the handleless units keep the line clean.

A light palette that opens the space out

The whole home is resolved in light tones — sand, off-white and raw textiles — to make the most of the light from the terrace. Against that neutral base stand the wooden pieces the owners already had, which are kept and worked into the new setting.

The bathrooms, each with its own character

The two bathrooms share materials but not personality: one is resolved with a shower and a botanical wallpaper that gives depth to the far wall; the other, with a round mirror and a wooden unit that breaks the horizontal. Small details that keep a light renovation from ending up bland.
